Some services offered through This is Directories Limited may be sold as subscriptions, pre-booked listings, or promotional placements. This policy explains how these purchases work, including cancellation and billing terms.

1. SUBSCRIPTIONS (BUSINESS LISTINGS / SERVICES)

When you purchase a subscription, you are purchasing ongoing access to a business listing, directory placement, promotional service, or other digital service provided by This is Directories Limited.

Subscriptions operate on a recurring billing cycle based on the duration selected at checkout (e.g. monthly or annually).

Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle unless you cancel your subscription.

Some subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each term. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel before the next billing date.

Once cancelled, your listing or service will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will be removed or deactivated.

Refunds for subscription payments are not issued for partially used billing periods unless required by law or explicitly stated in a specific promotion.

2. BUSINESS LISTINGS AND PROMOTIONAL PLACEMENTS

Where you purchase a business listing or promotional placement, you are purchasing digital visibility services rather than physical goods.

This may include (but is not limited to):

  • directory listings
  • featured placements
  • category inclusion
  • promotional highlighting across our platform or channels

We reserve the right to determine the format, placement, and presentation of listings in order to maintain editorial quality and consistency.

We may decline, edit, or remove any listing that does not meet our content standards or business guidelines.

3. PRE-BOOKED LISTINGS / CAMPAIGNS (IF APPLICABLE)

From time to time, we may offer fixed-term or campaign-based promotional placements.

These may be:

  • scheduled in advance
  • time-limited
  • tied to specific promotional periods or features

If you cancel a pre-booked placement before it goes live, you may be eligible for a refund at our discretion.

Once a campaign or placement has gone live, it cannot usually be cancelled or refunded unless required by law.

4. CHANGES TO LISTINGS OR SERVICES

We may update, reposition, redesign, or restructure listings or promotional placements at any time to improve the platform experience.

This may include changes to:

  • layout or design
  • category structure
  • ranking or visibility logic
  • featured placements

These changes do not affect your underlying subscription unless otherwise stated.

5. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

While we aim to provide meaningful exposure and visibility, we do not guarantee:

  • traffic levels
  • enquiries
  • sales outcomes
  • specific placement positions unless explicitly stated in a paid feature

6. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

All refunds and cancellations are governed by this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • subscriptions are non-refundable once a billing period has started
  • cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • promotional placements are non-refundable once live
